Project Description

Diaz·Yourman & Associates provided geotechnical services for the proposed P-284, F-35C Type I Aircraft Maintenance Hangar at the Naval Air Station in Lemoore, California (Project).  The purpose of DYA's services was to provide geotechnical input for the design of the proposed Project.  The scope of our services consisted of reviewing existing available geotechnical data, conducting a field exploration, performing laboratory tests on selected soil samples, performing engineering analyses to develop conclusions and recommendations, and preparing a geotechnical report. The primary geotechnical considerations at the site include potentially liquefiable soils (total and differential seismic settlements), compressible fine-grained soils (total and differential static settlements), and a potentially high groundwater table.
