South Waterfront Pier J Bike & Pedestrian Path receives APWA BEST Project Award & ACEC Engineering Excellence Award

Each year at its Annual Conference, American Public Works Association (APWA) Southern California Chapter, considered "an effective voice of public works throughout North America with a worldwide membership more than 30,000 strong," presents awards for the year's winning projects. 

Designed and constructed over a period of 7 years including DYA's construction support, the project was awared as best project at a virtual conference in December 2021, and is now ready for the public to enjoy.

The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) California has announced the 2022 Engineering Excellence Merit Award for this project.  Projects have been recognized for demonstrating an exceptional degree of innovation, complexity, achievement and value. Sixteen projects received the prestigious Honor Award, twenty were awarded Merit Awards and ten Commendation Awards were awarded.
