(Belated) congratulations to Clint Isa, who was made an Associate on January 1, 2016.

Mr. Isa joined current firm associates S. (Niranjan) Niranjanan, Saroj Weeraratne, and Cherie Eifler and principals Chris Diaz, President, and V. R. (Nadesh) Nadeswaran, in the planning and implementation of goals to ensure the continued success of our firm.

Mr. Isa has over 14 years of experience performing geotechnical and environmental investigations in California.  During his 10 years at DYA, his experience has primarily consisted of a wide variety of airport projects, including improvements to existing and construction of new landside and airside structures and design and rehabilitation of aircraft pavements.  His airport experience began at LAX and has led to work on several other southern California airports including Long Beach Airport, John Wayne Airport, Ontario International Airport, and Hollywood Burbank Airport on projects procured via design-bid-build, design-build (D-B), and construction manager at-risk (CMAR) methodologies.  In addition to airports, Clint has also worked on technically challenging sites in the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles; has performed vehicular pavement design and rehabilitation investigations for several city agencies; and has managed and performed Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments for public works projects involving petroleum products and heavy metals.

He received his BS and MS in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles. Clint currently serves as ASCE Orange County Branch Secretary and ASCE Metro Los Angeles Branch Air Transport Technical Group (ATTG) Director-at-Large, and is the founder and past president of ASCE Orange County Geo-Institute.  He is also a member of CMAA and SAME.
